Flying like an eagle above London

June 6 – Today mum and I went to my mum’s friends’ house for the night. They are called Sally and Jason, and their children are Pip (10) and Marnie (8). It was extraordinary, we watched movies, ate lollipops and stayed awake till 11 o’clock.

Tate Modern is a wonderful art gallery.

Time to go home after a great day.

In the morning we got up and made the parents breakfast. We were so tired from staying awake so late, but we pushed on. While we ate breakfast the parents announced that we were going to hang out together in the city for the day.

We went to the Tate Modern. It is a gallery with lots of modern art. They had a long rope platted that looked like a long snake, it was so cool. They also had a big screen that flashed pictures of paintings that people have done.

London Bridge. We were 42 metres high (see the photos). When you looked down it was like you were flying like an eagle.

Soon mum and I had to get back on to the tube to go home, because friends were coming for dinner (my dad spent the day shopping and cooking). We said goodbye to each other, and that was that.

  1. WOW! London is so cool. It looks like it’s very warm over there. It’s quite cold here at the moment…of course it’s winter for us.
