The castle adventure in France

This weekend Mum, Dad and I flew to the south of France where our friends picked us up and took us to Bordeaux.

When we got to Glen, Lucy and Eve’s house we felt like home. Eve my friend from Wellington did not know I was coming so it was a big surprise for her. When I got there I phoned Eve from down stairs and I said it was very  cold in New Zealand and then I hung up and Eve was in the bath and then I poked my head in and said hi Eve and she was so so surprised. Later on she showed me around and they had 6 animals – a Cat, Dog, Bunnys, Goats, Horse and donkeys and the most divine cherry tree that my eyes could not stop looking at them.

Eve and I bought small baskets with a fluffy cat and dog in them and then made them funny hats.

The second one we went to was like a massive castle it was like a king and queen were living there.

The next day we all went to the Sunday market where they sold exquisite stuff. After a while we decided to have a picnic we had a great lunch.

But then Mum, Dad and I had to get back to London so we said goodbye and that was that.

  1. WOW! Awesome hats. It looks like it is nice and warm there in the South of France. Have you eaten any snails or frogs legs? We all miss you and look forward to having you back with us.

  2. WOW!!!!!! It looks like you’re having a great time. All of your friends are missing you. On the 24th and the 25th of June we had Mr Groves. Talk to you soon. -Olivia
